Serious Business that threading
Hi there,For Easter we made this gorgeous Easter Garland and the thing I loved the most about it, it was free.
We went to our local hardware store and collected some paint samples (you know paper ones!)
Then we made a template of an Easter Egg and used this to trace and cut Easter Eggs from our paint samples.
I love the fact that it has the two colour samples on each egg, makes for really good effect.
Then (because my kids are so little) I used a needle to pre punch all the holes in the top of the eggs. Then I threaded up a needled and they took turns in threading it through.
Then we hung it from a beam above our kitchen table.
If you have a daughter like I do they'll love the rainbow effect you get. Of course you don't have to do a rainbow, you could chose many shades of one colour.
A Little Space Like Home __________________________________ Hi Mandy and kids,Once again thank you for such a great idea.
You really are clever.
Those children of yours are going to grow up with very active and creative imaginations.
Keep up the great work and I would love to see you and all your great creations up here in Can Do Kids Crafts.
I'm going to make sure that The Poppit makes some of these for our home as well.
Thank you!
Cheers,
Nannie CanDo
