Beaded Kids Jewelry Necklace

Mothers do the most amazing and heroic things for us all the time.

So why not make her a happy Mothers Day piece of jewelry.

Something she can keep forever to remember you by.

This very simple CanDo craft is easy for little fingers to work with and is great for teaching hand to eye co-ordination and color combining skills.

Using a simple paper clip and a bead, necklaces of different lengths and combinations of colors can be created.

• Paper clips, you can use plain old steel ones or for a more interesting look why not use colored ones.
• Small beads with holes large enough as you need to thread it onto the paper clip. Assorted colors, shapes and designs make for an interesting and very unique jewelry necklace.

Steps 1+2

# Bend out the end of the paper clip

# Choose a bead and slide it onto the end

Make up as many as you like changing the colors and shapes around.


How long would you like your necklace to be?

Steps 3

# Take the open end of the paper clip and hook it through the the end of another paper clip.

Bend up and secure the 2 together.

Steps 4

# Continue to join all the beaded paper clips together until you reach the length you want your necklace to be.

Steps 5

# When they are all joined, take both the ends and join to complete your wonderful example of gifts for Mothers day.
