The finished product!
Hi there,
Our craft activity is great fun for younger children.
There are two parts to this activity, firstly:
THE CHRISTMAS TREESupplies: 1 x large piece of white cardboard
1 x small piece of brown card / paper
Green paint
A paint brush
Scissors
Sticky tape or blue tack
And of course some little hands!
Instructions:Use the brush to paint hands ensuring there is enough paint coverage to complete hand prints on cardboard
Stamp hands on cardboard, starting from the bottom of the card, do a few prints in a row, then work your way up reducing the number of hand prints creating a Christmas Tree Shape.
Once dry cut around the tree. We stuck ours to our sliding door using blue tack, then cut out a stem from the brown paper.
DECORATIONSSupplies:This really is entirely up to you.
We used the internet to find cutouts of Christmas Baubles and Christmas Belles
We used the internet to find colour in images of candy canes and ginger bread men.
Coloured card
Glitter
Glue
Scissors
Christmas Stickers (to decorate)
Photos
Laminating sheets and Laminator
Instructions:Basically the kids coloured in the candy canes and ginger bread men and then we laminated them and the stuck them to the tree.
For the bauble and bells, I traced the image onto coloured card and cut them out.
We cut out a photo of each of my three children and we glued them to the shapes.
They stuck Christmas stickers around and then deocrated further by placing glue down and then sprinkling glitter on top.
Following this we laminated them and again they stuck them to the tree.
ReplyWow!
Mandy thank you so much. What a wonderful entry into the competition.
The children have done a fantastic job.
Good luck this year!
