Make A Boat from Recycled Materials

by Mandy Ferry

Hi Nanny CanDo,

My daughter Olivia is very crafty, as you know!

The other day she wanted to make a boat.

This is how she did it...

She tried a couple of different things, before she was able to produce something that was going to float.

She used the inside of a biscuit container, you know the plastic bits the biscuits are stored in, as the base.

She added a straw and paper for the sail.

Then we created a quick U-tube video so she could explain to other boys and girls how simple it is.

Check it out:

Hi Olivia,

Thank you so much.

Once again you have shown us all another easy, Can do kids craft.

You are so clever. Thank Mummy for the great video she is so clever!

You are a "Star"...well we all knew that didn't we.

Big kiss to you Poppit and your little brother behind you.

Did he jump into the bath to play with your boat, I wonder?

Love from Nannie CanDo

My little grandson will love to make one of these when he come to stay next.

Come to think of it i just might make one up to play with when i take a bath next.
